First Step

We will begin with conversations and questions to allow us to get to know you and your heart. We want to help you answer the big question, ‘Is God calling me to plant a church?’

We will help you identify a location in Florida that matches your background and calling. A city where you clearly feel God calling you to reach lost people.

We will walk with you through a series of interviews and then go with you to an assessment that will reveal if you have the personality, temperament, and skills to plant a healthy church.

Assessment is a three-day event provided by one of our partners for the planter and his wife, if married. You will join with other potential planters and assessors to help you discover if you are ready to plant a church.

After assessment, we will guide you through the next steps of relocating, raising funds, and building your launch team.

Financial

Raising money for planting a church may seem overwhelming to you. We’ll walk with you through this, too. Florida Church Planters is able to give grants of up to $150,000 to our church planters. This is possible because of the faithful giving of churches throughout our state. We will also help create a strategy and connect you with other churches and partners to raise the money you’ll need.

Guidance

There are hundreds of tasks to be completed to successfully launch. We will help you take steps to get to know your target audience and begin to develop relationships in your new community.

We will also connect you with some of our partners who are really good at guiding you through all the steps you need to take. This will include project management and coaching. FCP will also be alongside to walk with you as you work to do everything that is necessary to move toward a successful launch.

Care

Florida Church Planters is a growing family of planters, and we would love to welcome you into our family! We don’t want you to feel alone as you take this journey, so we will do all we can to help you stay healthy and feel connected. Our planters gather in person once a year for two days to be encouraged and build relationships with each other. They also gather via Zoom quarterly to stay connected and help each other along the church-planting journey.

Our FCP Director will be a part of your Management Team and will stay in regular contact with you to provide whatever help you need. You are not alone!
